About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technician to perform high-quality nuclear medicine and PET/CT procedures. The role ensures accurate and safe imaging, maintains lab equipment, provides patient education, and delivers diagnostic support in alignment with regulatory and institutional standards.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
Associate’s Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or NMTCB certification.
Post-secondary certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
Radiologic Technologist License issued by New York State Department of Health.
BCLS certification.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Siemens Biograph Vision PET/CT systems.
Familiarity with union work environments.
Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain nuclear medicine and PET/CT equipment, ensuring safety and accuracy.
Perform imaging procedures following established protocols and regulatory requirements.
Prepare patients for imaging, provide education, and address questions to ensure comfort and compliance.
Administer radiopharmaceuticals and adhere to radiation safety practices for patients and staff.
Verify patient identity, procedure orders, and documentation prior to exams.
Maintain accurate patient and procedure records per institutional, state, and federal guidelines.
Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and clinical staff to support diagnostic accuracy and workflow.
Assist with equipment testing, calibration, and quality assurance.
Follow all departmental and organizational policies, including workflow, compliance, and patient care standards.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
