About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technician to perform high-quality nuclear medicine and PET/CT procedures. The role ensures accurate and safe imaging, maintains lab equipment, provides patient education, and delivers diagnostic support in alignment with regulatory and institutional standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Associate’s Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
  • ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or NMTCB certification.
  • Post-secondary certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
  • Radiologic Technologist License issued by New York State Department of Health.
  • BCLS certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Siemens Biograph Vision PET/CT systems.
  • Familiarity with union work environments.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine and PET/CT equipment, ensuring safety and accuracy.
  • Perform imaging procedures following established protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare patients for imaging, provide education, and address questions to ensure comfort and compliance.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals and adhere to radiation safety practices for patients and staff.
  • Verify patient identity, procedure orders, and documentation prior to exams.
  • Maintain accurate patient and procedure records per institutional, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and clinical staff to support diagnostic accuracy and workflow.
  • Assist with equipment testing, calibration, and quality assurance.
  • Follow all departmental and organizational policies, including workflow, compliance, and patient care standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
