Get to Know Your Team: Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital with 263 licensed beds, providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology and oncology services.
Requirements
- Graduate of an Accredited Nuclear Medicine Program.
- One (1) year clinical internship
- ARRT(N), or NMTCB, or ASCP(N)
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certificate issued by the State of NM.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Two (2) years of related experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepares, measures, and administers radiopharmaceuticals for use in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
- Prepares, measures, and administers radiopharmaceuticals for use in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- May provide clerical support for the assigned department, including but not limited to scheduling appointments, record keeping and answering phones.
- Performs quality control and maintains equipment, and reports areas of concern to the appropriate manager.
- Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
- Maintains credentials and/or licensures.
- Participates and attends departmental meetings.
- Takes ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or requested.
- Communicates and listens effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understands instructions and shares knowledge.
- Cooperates and interacts with supervisors, peers, other departments, and all customer groups, demonstrating our commitment to “service”.
