Position Summary: Under general direction of the Director of Diagnostic Imaging, the nuclear medicine technologist is directly responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient nuclear medicine department using radioactive isotopes for enhanced diagnostic imaging. He/she is responsible for performing all nuclear medicine procedures.

Requirements

  • Current and Active NMTCB and/or ARRT (N) Licensure for Nuclear Medicine
  • Registered and licensed by the State of California
  • CPR Certification
  • Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years progressively more responsible experience under nuclear related program/job. Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.
  • Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
