  • Performs Nuclear Medicine/PET/CT Imaging studies.
  • Handles, administers, calculates dosage and prepares Radionuclides as required.
  • Maintains records in accordance with departmental policy and procedures as well as within state requirements.
  • Performs basic patient care within scope of practice and to departmental standards.
  • Assists in Radiology department as needed.
  • Markets to local area physician referral base to promote PET/CT.
  • Must be a graduate of an A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B approved program with current A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B. registration.
  • Current Florida Nuclear Medicine license.
  • Newly graduated technologist should be able to work unattended shift, with only occasional guidance needed within six months.
  • Experienced technologist should be able to work independently in one month.
  • RHN - Radiologic Health Nuclear Medicine.
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support.
  • NMTCB - Nuclear Medicine Tech or A.R.R.T.
