Job SummaryProvides diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures for both inpatients and outpatientsthrough the administration of radiopharmaceuticals and the safe operation of various types of imagingcounting and computer equipment. Maintains accurate records of radioactive materials from receiptthrough administration and disposal. Acts as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assures currentstandards of practice for the unit. Provides shift leadership and support to the Imaging staff.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two years of nuclear medicine experience
- RT (N) Required Registered Technologist, Radiology, NuclearMedicine - R.T. (N)(ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- Current Basic Life Support certification required fromAmerican Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- Associates Degree strongly preferred
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- Previous leadership experience preferred
- Cardiac Nuclear Medicine registration preferred
Responsibilities
