About The Position

Monitor and evaluate EKG tracings before, during and after exercise testing. Supervise and coordinate exercise testing protocols, document changes in patient status, treatments or prescribed medications and response to treatment. Evaluates patients for stress testing, reviews patient charts and interprets physician orders. Terminates tests as may be required by protocol or patient tolerance. Documents changes in patient status, treatments or prescribed medications and response to treatment. Coordinates and schedules stress techs in order to provide adequate staffing levels. Initiates service calls as needed and schedules preventative maintenance when appropriate. Evaluates supply levels and orders supplies as needed. Performs other work related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
  • Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science.
  • Successful passage of Basic Arrhythmia Program or challenge exam.
  • Certified in BLS.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred.
