Summary: Performs the various nuclear medicine diagnostic imaging and/or therapy procedures, preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals, quality control procedures and other ancillary job duties with the goal of providing the highest quality of appropriate imaging services possible in the most efficient and cost effective manner to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to the age of the patient served by the Department of Imaging Services.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in science or related field, or will consider equivalent combination of two-year Associates Degree in specialized or technical field, and one-year nuclear medicine technology certification program.
  • Requires a minimum of one year of experience in nuclear medicine technology or related field.
  • ARRT(N) and/or CNMT or eligible

Responsibilities

  • Performs the various nuclear medicine diagnostic imaging and/or therapy procedures
  • Preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals
  • Quality control procedures
  • Other ancillary job duties with the goal of providing the highest quality of appropriate imaging services possible in the most efficient and cost effective manner to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
  • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to the age of the patient served by the Department of Imaging Services.
