About The Position
Perform a full spectrum of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures. Work with fellow staff technologists, supervisor and medical director to maximize patient throughput in a trauma one medial center teaching environment.
Requirements
- Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups
- Associate's degree; Graduate of an approved nuclear medicine training program.
- Have the mathematical skills to properly calculate doses and apply routine nuclear medicine formulas as needed.
- Work with fellow technologist and professional staff to maximize patient workload.
- Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) and/or registered as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(N))
- Licensed by the State of Florida as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CPR)
- Less than one year - Graduate from an approved nuclear medicine program.
Nice To Haves
- One to two years experience preferred.
