About The Position

Independently performs all phases of diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine procedures following department protocol while using their technical knowledge, skills, and good judgment to provide safe and effective care in an educational facility. Accurately documents all radioactive materials and medical record information in compliance with all federal, state, and hospital regulations. Rotational on-call required.

Requirements

  • Satisfactory completion of an Associate of Science Degree in Nuclear Medicine from an AMA approved program.
  • Certification by ARRT and/or NMTCB.
  • Licensure from the Florida DOH.
  • Registered by the ARRT (RT (N)) or the NMTCB (CNMT).
  • Licensed by the State of Florida DOH as a Certified Radiologic Technologist.

Nice To Haves

  • CT Certification by ARRT and/or NMTCB.
  • Licensure by Florida DOH for CT.
