About The Position
Performs Nuclear Medicine procedures by the administration of Radiopharmaceuticals. Maintains accurate patient records of administered radiopharmaceuticals for compliance with proper authorities. Thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards, devices and techniques. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to enable accurate patient positioning and ability to judge the acceptability of diagnostic images. Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date. If you receive an exemption from the vaccination requirement, you will be required to submit to regular testing in accordance with the law.
Requirements
- Completion of accredited Radiology Technology or Nuclear Medicine Program
- Nuclear Medicine Certification by ARRT and/or NMTCB.
- MRT certification.
- CPR Certification
- Good communication and customer service skills.
