Requirements

• Associate from accredited program Required.
• Bachelor's from accredited program Preferred.
• (N) ARDMS or ARRT - Nuclear Med Tech Required.
• NMTCB - Nuclear Medicine Tech Required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Radiographic Imaging procedures independently.
• Handle, prepare, calculate dosage and administer radionuclides and interventional medications under the direction of an authorized user.
• Maintain records in accordance with departmental and state requirements.
• Assist the radiation safety officer as needed.
• Transport patients to imaging room.
• Position patients appropriately to obtain quality diagnostic images.
• Deliver images to radiologist for interpretation via PACS system.
• Assist Radiologist for any required procedure.
• Perform clerical duties and assist in radiology department as needed.
• Perform basic patient care within scope of practice and to departmental standards.
• Adhere to the Corporate Compliance plan and regulations of all local, state, and federal agencies.
