Nuclear Med Tech - PET Scanner
About The Position
Overview: Nuclear Med Tech II, PET Scanner Shift to be Worked: Mon - Wed 7a-7p Responsibilities: Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to all Protocols, Policies and Procedures and adhering to A.L.A.R.A. programs. Performs all quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state and federal guidelines. Demonstrates ability to perform advance imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and is competent/proficient with cross-sectional anatomy and physiology. Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs. Qualifications: Education Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) Required Work Experience 1 year of experience Required Licenses and Certifications Either CNMT or NMTCB registered Required Additional Licenses and Certifications BLS Certified Required Business Unit : Name: Piedmont Fayette Hospital
Requirements
- Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- 1 year of experience
- Either CNMT or NMTCB registered
- BLS Certified
