Performs routine diagnostic Nuclear Medicine exams for evaluation and treatment by physicians. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to complete required procedures. May have access to areas where medications are stored and/or prepared for purposes of fulfilling job duties. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Must meet the educational requirement for Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification with NMTCB or ARRT (NM) Preferred: Associate’s Degree or higher Licensure/ Certification Must be registered in Nuclear Medicine by the ARRT or NMTCB with documented Continuing Education to maintain registration/certification or meet requirements to be certified by NMTCB Must possess advanced Nuclear Medicine Registry/Certification CPR certified or obtained within 30 days of hire Completed an accredited Nuclear Medicine program Experience One or more years of experience in the field of Radiology Company Information Augusta Health is a mission-driven, independent, nonprofit, community health system located in Fishersville Virginia in Virginia’s scenic Shenandoah Valley.
