About The Position

This position is eligible for a sign on bonus Summary Operates gamma cameras to perform standard dynamic, static and tomographic procedures, to provide excellence diagnostic images for interpretation. Is responsible for preparing, calibrating and calculating radiopharmaceuticals, while maintaining sterility and integrity of the prepared radiopharmaceutical compound. Treats patients, families and health care team members with respect and courtesy, anticipating the needs of customers. Operates diagnostic imaging equipment and performs diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with department policy and procedures. Operates within the #Code of Ethics# and the #Clinical Performance Standards# established by the Society of Nuclear Medicine. Is knowledgeable of all NRC requirements for receiving, shipping, disposal, surveys, swipe testing, and radioactive contamination. Education Satisfactory completion of formal nuclear medicine program, or radiologic technology with additional nuclear training. Licensure/Certification Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, ARRT (R), ARRT (N), or CNMT. Licensed with the Indiana State Board of Health for nuclear. CPR Certification. Experience Previous experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred, but not required, or previous experience in a similar role. Other Qualifications Knowledge of imaging the various anatomical structures. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., 100 lbs. shared lifting. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of general computer skills and applications. Must be able to take call, evenings, weekends and holidays. Demonstrate ability to multi-task and work independently using critical thinking skills. #

Requirements
