About The Position

This work location has an alternating 4/10 Alternate Work Schedule. Please ensure that you only submit candidates who agree to a 4/10 work schedule. ASSIGNMENT WILL HAVE UNESCORTED ACCESS BADGING AT DCPP THEREFORE PG&E IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG SCREENING NOT THE SUPPLIER. The primary responsibility of the instructor is to properly implement and document the SAT process which includes the following tasks: Analyze subject material for new and revised training. Use the design process to determine job performance measures (JPMs), establish training settings, sequence training objectives, and identify test items from the objectives. Develop lessons for classroom and laboratory settings, JPM performance evaluations, and test questions. Execute developed training by thoroughly preparing to present the material and verifying that instructional facilities and resources are adequate and ready to provide a quality learning experience. Evaluate training process by the collection of data, including test results, feedback, and the performance of post training evaluations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of maintenance experience at DCPP's maintenance or training department
  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance or training from another company.
  • Strongly Desired Electrical Maintenance Knowledge
  • 5 years Electrical Maintenance Experience at another Nuclear Power Plant OR,
  • 7 years other Power Plant Electrical Experience (such as Gas Plant, Manufacturing Plant, etc) OR,
  • Completed Electrical Apprenticeship OR,
  • Electrical Engineering Degree & 1 years Nuclear Power Plant Experience

Nice To Haves

  • Nuclear Maintenance Electrical Technical Expertise
  • Proficiency in all areas of the ADDIE process, including supporting soft skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, General ability to navigate site systems for developing lessons, Ability to build/construct lab activity mock-ups
  • Excellent Platform skills
