Requirements

  • High School Diploma and 8 yrs. related job experience
  • Or 2 yr. Associate degree in related science and 6 yrs. related experience
  • Or 4 yrs. Bachelor’s degree in related science and 4 yrs. related job experience
  • Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with power plant operation and/or engineering, and automation tools such as AI and Power BI (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Performs assigned task with minimum guidance from supervision
  • Collect and organize engineering department information from various sources, including databases, reports, and interviews
  • Analyze collected information and make appropriate recommendations, with a focus on behaviors
  • Identify impacts of behaviors to nuclear safety and equipment reliability
  • Monitor and update progress for engineering department priorities and key metrics
  • Coordinate assigned projects, studies and initiatives through completion
  • Comply with safety policy and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Prepare and present routine reports
  • Participate in special project and committee assignments as requested
  • Lead routine problem-solving efforts
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and assist in implementation, including automation for data collection and analysis
  • Maintain active role in scheduled plant outages
  • Support emergent activities as required
