About The Position

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with authoring technical papers, reports, or program plans for technical and non-technical audiences on research pertaining to nuclear science or engineering.
• Doctorate degree in Nuclear Engineering, Nuclear Science, or Radiochemistry.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements.

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of experience in postdoctoral, academic, or industry roles related to fuel cycle-related technology areas, spent nuclear fuel reprocessing, nuclear fuel fabrication, waste form development, waste disposition, nuclear fuel cycle analyses, or radiochemistry.
• Experience in a consulting or advisory role.
• Ability to demonstrate creativity and resourcefulness when dealing with uncertainty.
• Possession of excellent organizational, client service, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Guide the design, evaluation, and management of government and private sector-sponsored R&D programs.
