Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED with three years of administrative experience.
  • Must obtain an evaluation of 'recommended' on the EEI SASS test.
  • Proficiency in software applications such as word processing, presentation, spreadsheet, intranet/internet research and department database management.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio).
  • Able to analyze data, prepare reports, and make recommendations.
  • Must be able to coordinate deadlines and logistics to successfully lead projects through to completion using effective time and resource management skills within an agreed upon time frame.
  • Working knowledge of policy interpretation and administration.
  • Proficient written and oral communication skills to interact with all levels of management both internally and externally.
  • Time management and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to be flexible, multitask, set and change priorities, meet deadlines, and exhibit initiative to complete assignments with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative and technical application support for nuclear programs and projects related to the Nuclear business unit.
  • Gathers information from Maximo, Devonway, SSIS, myDTE, etc. and analyzes nuclear reports to create agendas and provide summaries for business presentations.
  • Manages and maintains calendar for leaders, scheduling appointments and conference calls with internal and nuclear industry external stakeholders such as NSRG, INPO, and NRC.
  • Coordinates large-scale events, off-site meetings, conferences, and workshops for the nuclear leadership team.
  • Processes business expense reports and records and verifies time reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintains record management of nuclear operational or compliance information.
  • Facilitates and/or supports administrative projects and programs, e.g., annual program, rollouts, and policies and day-to-day operations.
  • Initiates, composes, and prepares correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, meeting minutes, and itineraries independently and from rough outline.
  • Proposes and implements improvement opportunities to streamline administrative processes, such as document management, meeting and calendar scheduling, and communications, etc. and improve office efficiency.
  • Provides coverage to other departments during administrative staff absences, scheduled leaves, or when supplementary support is required.
