The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will independently perform Nuclear Medicine procedures utilizing proper techniques and the administration of radiopharmaceuticals. This role works under their scope of practice and in accordance with their certificate/licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture. The technologist will coordinate patient flow and the activities of the Nuclear Medicine department, including radiation protection practices. Professional judgment is exercised in the performance of duties to maintain equipment in good working condition. The position may also involve performing procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs and may include on-call responsibilities.
