About The Position

Under the general direction of the Director of Diagnostic Imaging, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist is directly responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient nuclear medicine department using radioactive isotopes for enhanced diagnostic imaging. He/she is responsible for performing all nuclear medicine procedures.

Requirements

  • Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
  • Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
  • Registered and licensed by the American Registry of Nuclear Medicine Technology and the State of California.
  • CPR Certification Required.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
  • 2 years progressively more responsible experience nuclear medicine related program/job.
