About The Position
The Nucor Technical Academy is a training program aimed at teaching electrical maintenance fundamentals to individuals with a high school diploma or GED. Over a two-year period, participants will receive a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on training to prepare them for a career as a Maintenance Electrician. The program includes academic coursework, on-the-job training, and opportunities to work with experienced Nucor Maintenance Team Members, primarily located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
