Requirements

• Shipping/Dispatching experience preferred
• Supervisor and/or manager recommendation
• Microsoft Excel experience and Basic Computer skills

Nice To Haves

• High school Diploma or GED
• Must know basic math
• Must be able to read and write basic English
• Experience with D365 ERP system and TMS system

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch loads to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules, customer requests or business needs
• Allocate loads to carriers, assuring a successful tendering process.
• Work with Customer Service, Production and Warehouse teams to maintain an up-to-date, accurate and balanced shipping schedule.
• Ensure that all shipping documents are current and comply with all Federal and Company requirements.
• Reconcile production and shipping records to ensure complete shipment of materials.
• Maintain up-to-date records for Shipping
• Participate, as needed, with freight rate negotiations and Maintain Relationships with Carriers
• All other duties, as assigned.
