The Shipboard Missiles Sub-Strategic Business unit within Naval Power has a need for a International Program Manager, who will oversee and manage relationships with various Nations. The International Program Manager is responsible for driving the day-to-day program execution on a fast paced, dynamic international program and is accountable for successful management to contract requirements, ensuring the program achieves cost, schedule and technical performance requirements. This position will support program leadership as a member of the program leadership team, and work with the respective integrated program managers and cross product teams. This is an onsite position located at our Tucson, AZ facility. Relocation assistance is NOT available currently.

  • Responsible for meeting contractual commitments including financial, technical, and schedule performance of assigned program(s) within contractual boundaries and company expectations.
  • Develop program enhancing partnerships with internal functional organizations, such as contracts, finance, procurement, manufacturing, quality control, logistics, and administrative functions.
  • Convey to customer, program status and performance. Additionally, anticipates and fulfills customer needs to ensure their satisfaction and continued business.
  • Responsible for fulfilling the program’s specific financial goals and obligations in accordance with the program AOP.
  • Responsible for growing the program and its product(s) by ensuring ongoing customer funding of current contractual requirements, working with the customer to identify and fund further product enhancements.
  • Stay proficient in company policy and directive changes and any resulting implications that warrant change management facilitation.
  • Responsibility includes identifying and resolving complex customer issues, effectively managing deadlines, balancing priorities and successfully managing cultural sensitivities, ensuring consistent, coordinated and accurate reporting for the program while ensuring adherence to all International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and foreign releasability requirements.
  • Work closely with IPT leads and functional support personnel to support day-to-day program execution managing deliverables, test equipment support, and supporting future business, while recommending and implementing best practices as warranted by program execution situations.
  • Support the development of proposals and Gate 4s to fulfill customer requirements.
  • International and domestic travel required.
  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years’ experience
  • Prior Program/Project Management experience
  • U.S. Citizen, U.S. Person, or Immigration Status Requirements: The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Security Clearance: Secret - Current
  • Prior experience supporting, preferably owning and driving, program execution needs including global programs
  • Technical acumen, background
  • Supply chain experience, understanding of fundamentals
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to drive priorities in a fast-pace, dynamic program
  • Effective influential communicator
  • Experience working with cross functional teams and across teams to achieve a designated end goal
  • Previous experience supporting programs and office spaces in a classified environment, with demonstrated knowledge of security practices to include open / close procedures
  • Experience in scheduling, operating, and securing classified telecommunication systems (video and voice)
  • Demonstrated experience with Global Trade/ITAR compliance
