About The Position

JBS Pork is looking for a Quality Control Technician in Louisville, Kentucky. This role will support the company’s constant effort to ensure all food safety requirements and quality standards are met . The ideal candidate will be very detail oriented, adaptable, and thorough.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (both written and verbally )
• Excellent customer service skills
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a food processing facility
• Abil ity to work in extremely hot and cold conditions
• Ability to work on a tablet
• Basic computer skills required
• Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate quality levels of products, areas, and people
• Required to know both harvest and cold side departments
• Follow all food safety requirements and ensure guidelines are being followed
• Ensure all company safety guidelines are being followed
• Work closely with management to achieve production objectives
• Other duties as assigned
