About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled NPI Test Process Engineer to develop, manage, and improve test processes for new silicon chip products within our supply chain team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in test process development, problem-solving, and project management, with a focus on silicon chip testing. test process development, problem-solving, and project management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in test process development, NPI, or a related field, with a focus on silicon chip testing. 2+ years of experience working in semiconductor testing industry at ATE facility within foundary and/or test service provider like Teradyne preferred
  • Experience in test hardware (load board, socket, handler, probe card) and related PCB design and/or digital silicon design and DFT techniques, standards related to sort/test and silicon qualification
  • Experience in designing, and analyzing experiments to improve yield and performance
  • Hardware/circuit knowledge particularly JTAG/PCIe/BL1, as well as overall PCBA design and layout
  • Working knowledge of SQL database and external Github or similar
  • Experience working with test engineers, OSAT partners, external labs on REL qualification (ESD, temperature, humidity, etc.)
  • Participate & support Failure Analysis, Root Cause and Corrective Action
  • Review design documents ensuring functional test and debug requirements are maintained
  • Familiarity with industry-standard test protocols, such as JTAG, I2C, and SPI

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement test processes for new silicon chip products, including wafer-level testing, package-level testing, and board-level testing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure test process alignment with product requirements and manufacturing capabilities
  • Drive test process efficiency and quality improvements through data analysis and problem-solving
  • Manage test process documentation, including test plans, test reports, and test procedures
  • Participate in the development of Design for Testability (DfT) and Design for Manufacturability (DfM) guidelines for new silicon chip products
  • Work with external test houses and OSATs to develop and qualify test processes for new silicon chip products
  • Act as a critical-to-quality (CTQ) leader during NPIs, ensuring test process quality and reliability
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including those related to quality, safety, and intellectual property
  • Experience with centralized test data workflow management / handling test data in SQL database/data analysis preferred
