About The Position

The NPI Program Manager at Meta is responsible for overseeing the New Product Introduction (NPI) process within the Supply Chain organization. This role requires managing complex projects involving AI, compute, storage, and network hardware, ensuring timely and quality delivery by coordinating activities across various internal and external teams. The Program Manager will act as the primary liaison, driving readiness and addressing risks while fostering collaboration among stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a directly related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in NPI product life-cycle and program management, including stakeholder influence and cross-functional execution.
  • Technical background in engineering or manufacturing in AI, compute, or networking.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in computer hardware and/or networking manufacturing and supply chain execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt and thrive in ambiguous environments.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain roles throughout NPI phases, including HW, SW, and quality assurance.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing test processes and systems, including quality inspections and automated testing.
  • Understanding of PLM concepts, including BOMs and quality management systems.
  • Proven communication and presentation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • M.S. in hardware engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience with Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis and budget management.
  • Experience sourcing and managing global suppliers and manufacturing partners.
  • Experience with RFQ package creation, source selection, and price negotiation.
  • Experience executing commercial sourcing agreements.
  • Knowledge of risk management and disaster recovery best practices related to hardware manufacturing.
  • Experience with data center hardware architecture and deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the single-threaded owner for Meta's Supply Chain organization, managing overall schedule and readiness for NPI builds.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Meta's Supply Chain organization and all internal and external partners for covered programs.
  • Drive build readiness, including all Supply Chain deliverables and daily issue debugging across teams.
  • Manage manufacturing, test, and material readiness, ensuring infrastructure is prepared for NPI.
  • Identify, mitigate, and communicate program risks across the Supply Chain organization.
  • Develop and execute the overall program communication strategy with internal and external partners.
  • Drive factory ramp readiness with engineering and manufacturing partners.
  • Manage program escalations across internal and external teams and partners.
  • Identify operational pain points and improvement opportunities, driving enhancements across processes and workflows.
