As Meta's datacenter infrastructure grows rapidly in scope and scale, the increased technical complexity and velocity of new product introductions requires organization and integration of activities across numerous internal and external teams and manufacturing sites. Meta's Infrastructure organization is seeking an experienced New Product Introduction Program Manager with a focus on cross-program materials to act as the unifier of common key commodities from a NPI sourcing & planning function to gain alignment across the Supply Chain organization. This role has the unique opportunity to operate across the entire NPI landscape to identify materials that are critical path and potential blockers and ultimately manage risks to drive successful on-time and on-quality NPI delivery of Meta's highest-priority AI, compute, storage & network hardware across our global data center footprint. This position will work closely with internal stakeholders, including E2E NPI PM, Commercial\Technical\Commodity Sourcing along with external manufacturing partners. This role may also include other Meta internal stakeholders including AI & Hardware Engineering, Technical Program Management, Manufacturing Operations, and all Supply Chain functions.

  • Identify and Implement a new cross-functional, long term robust system and process for aligning NPI PM's cross program commodity management
  • Identify and track supply chain risks across NPI Programs, develop risk mitigation plans, and report trends for common materials
  • Review major NPI Demand changes in order to assess the risk around the demand plan and the impact of the changes to the supply plan
  • Partner with Commercial, Technical and Commodity Sourcing for key commodities requiring prioritization and high visibility or escalation to meet NPI schedules
  • Propose and lead NPI materials planning workflows and continuous process improvements & identify process automation opportunities
  • Manage the disposition of excess and obsolete materials, including cross-program usage, RTV (Return to Vendor) and scrap to minimize material liability for NPI's
  • Partner with Supply and Demand Commodity Planning to identify the long-term forecast and prepare long lead-time materials and forecasts
  • Identify material buffers for NPI based on lead-times and hardware roadmaps
  • Identify operational pain points and improvement opportunities across internal and external processes and workflows and drive improvements across multiple teams and functions
  • Bachelor's degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in NPI product life-cycle, program management including program kickoff, stakeholder influence & strategy, workstream prioritization, driving cross-functional execution and establishing working relationships across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Technical background in engineering or manufacturing in AI, compute, or networking space
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience with in computer hardware and/or networking manufacturing, shop floor control, supply chain execution, manufacturing testing and product lifecycle management tools and processes
  • Effective demonstrated skill to adapt, take initiative and thrive in ambiguity
  • Knowledge of manufacturing-specific roles & responsibilities throughout NPI phases including HW, SW, manufacturing, product, process, test & quality engineering, reliability, and quality assurance
  • Knowledge of supply chain-specific roles & responsibilities throughout NPI phases including procurement, planning, product lifecycle management, materials management, demand and supply planning, and logistics
  • Knowledge of manufacturing test processes & systems, including quality inspections, automated server, storage and integrated rack testing
  • Knowledge of PLM concepts including BOMs, ECO / MCO, deviations, part substitutions, effectivity date management, quality management systems
  • Proven communication and presentation skills
  • Extensive experience with ODM/OEM providers, electromechanical systems, and complex systems, with a solid understanding of manufacturing & supply chain readiness
  • Proven cross-functional collaboration skills, demonstrated skills in managing and prioritizing supply and demand signals across multiple programs
  • Demonstrated high quality email, presentations, adaptability, and alignment with Infrastructure and Supply Chain & engineering organizational goals
  • M.S. in hardware engineering, manufacturing engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Experience sourcing and managing global (Asia, EU, LATAM) suppliers and manufacturing partners
  • Experience with data center hardware architecture and deployment
  • $129,000/year to $185,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
  • Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location
