About The Position
The NPI Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for supporting the supply chain activities for new product introductions for Beckman Coulter Life Science Products in multiple manufacturing locations. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Global NPI Operations-Systems/Hardware and is part of the New Product Introduction Team located in Indianapolis, IN and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with Procurement and Supplier Quality teams to select suppliers and complete part qualifications, including documentation of product qualification plans and reports. You will partner with Operations to support process development and qualification, involving new product introduction workshops, creation of work instructions, and setup of parts markets in production. Additionally, you will work with Planning to manage part releases, coordinate with Development to release prints and bills of materials, and ensure timely availability of parts for production. You will facilitate the seamless transition from development to production by coordinating efforts between Development and Operations for pilot and production builds, while maintaining clear communication and thorough documentation throughout all stages to meet project requirements and adhere to timelines.
