Job Summary & Essential Functions: Project management, project engineering and product engineering for new products as they are introduced into the company.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of SMT, Selective soldering and Wave soldering operations
  • Knowledge of machine shop operations
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Knowledgeable of ERP systems, preferably Syteline
  • Intermediate knowledge and use of applicable workmanship or other acceptability standards
  • Intermediate ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings, production drawings, wiring drawings, and electronic schematic diagrams, and routers
  • Intermediate level in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Ability to effectively communicate in all forms with others inside and outside the organization
  • Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to produce quality results
  • Ability to communicate with customers projecting the company image to attract business
  • Ability to facilitate meetings
  • Ability to plan, resolve problems effectively, and establish priorities
  • Ability to multitask efficiently and adapt within a rapidly changing environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in related technical field
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant job experience
  • Previous project management experience
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate activities with multiple departments as new models and projects are introduced to the company
  • Evaluate new product documentation to ensure required information is available to manufacture the product
  • Interface with customer and project team; resolve any issues (example – quality, design, process and parts)
  • Coordinate Design for Manufacturability and Design for Test (DFM / DFT); lead kickoff, readiness and rap-up meetings
  • Coordinate with Test and Design Engineer on different projects
  • Write Internal Change Request documentation to modify or develop documentation
  • Manage multiple projects using a controlled phase gate process
  • Create intelligent solutions to issues and problems and recommend resolution to internal teams and customers
  • Complete customer feedback reports and initiate change requests to correct and improve manufacturability; follow internal processes established by the company
