About The Position
The Atrium Health Hospice and Palliative Care team affirms the beauty of life by providing compassionate and holistic care to individuals and their loved ones who are living with a life-limiting illness. About the Opportunity: Monday-Friday 8:30 a m-5:00 pm Average of 3 patient visits/day; Minimum 1 5 patient visit s/ week Hybrid role of providing specialty care in home, assisted living, and nursing facilities Geographic Focus will be Mecklenburg County area Community b ased . Mileage reimbursement. Call Schedule 1:5 weeks with Hospice : M-F 5:00 pm- 8: 30 a m, 24-hour coverage Saturday and Sunday Join a Collegial Team of 1 Physician, 2 NPs Academic/Teaching Opportunities
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited NP program
- 1 + years of experience in Hospice Care, Palliative Medicine, Critical Care, or Oncology is
- Ability to work independently and autonomously
- Current prescriptive privileges and DEA license
Nice To Haves
- Advanced Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse ( ACHPN) preferred
