About The Position

Requirements

• Doctoral degree (MD/DO) or active and unrestricted APRN/PA-C license.
• Active California Medical License or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• 2+ years of experience in wound care or relevant clinical experience in surgical, emergency medicine, urgent care, or inpatient environments.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in surgical, emergency medicine, or urgent care settings.
• Willingness to learn about wound care and perform serial debridement services.

Responsibilities

• Manage a manageable patient load with 30 minutes allotted per patient.
• Manage and treat complex wounds from head to toe.
• Educate and collaborate with primary care providers and urgent care providers to prevent unnecessary emergency department transfers.
