About The Position

ChristianaCare is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Wilmington Adult Medicine Practice at Wilmington Hospital. This full-time role involves working collaboratively with a diverse team to provide care to patients of all ages, with a focus on education as part of the clinic's mission. The position requires evening and Saturday availability in rotation with other providers.

Requirements

• Master's degree as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse (NP) or graduate from an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program.
• NCCPA certification for Physician Assistants.
• Licensure or license eligible as a Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (FNP or AGNP) in Delaware.
• Prescriptive authority required in Delaware.
• Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support).
• Experience in Family or Internal Medicine as APRN-FNP, APRN-AGNP, or PA.
• At least 3 years of provider experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in the education of internal medicine residents as part of the teaching clinic.
• Manage patient appointments, including evening and Saturday morning slots as needed.
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide follow-up care for patients.
• Maintain prescriptive authority and ensure compliance with state regulations.
