About The Position
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills, working independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. This position provides health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. The NP/PA may care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly, as noted in the age-related category and area of expertise. The role is part of a Walk-In Care team committed to customer service and patient-centered care, providing healthcare services to a variety of patients in both Walk-In Care and Family Medicine settings. The clinic offers on-site Lab, Radiology, and Therapy Services, ensuring timely and efficient care for acute care patients. The NP/PA will collaborate with a great group of fellow advanced practice clinicians, physicians, and support staff, and will be required to rotate among other area walk-in campuses for coverage, necessitating ND & MN licensure and DEA certification.
