About The Position
Asante is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our busy Urology team in beautiful Medford, Oregon. Candidates will work with a team of Urologists and an excellent support team of medical assistants, front office staff and a practice manager. Education: Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program.
Requirements
- Physician Assistant (PA-C) certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or Nurse Practitioner and licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners (OBME) required.
- Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges - this includes but is not limited to, holding position-specific certifications/memberships as determined by Asante Medical Staff team (i.e. ACLS, BLS, PALS, etc.)
- Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs
- Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in hospital's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of one year of experience working as a provider in a Urology practice is preferred.
- New grads will be considered.
