About The Position

Provides health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. They may care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted in age-related category and area of expertise. NP/PA – Sleep Medicine Fargo, ND We are seeking an NP/PA to join the Sleep Medicine team at our South University Campus in Fargo, ND. The provider will partner with one (1) part-time physician (a Neurologist trained in Sleep Medicine) and 4 APC’s in offering exceptional care to our growing number of patients. Step into a fulfilling role that provides you with a brand-new sleep lab and a dedicated team of caregivers. 1.0 FTE, full-time status Mon-Fri from 8a-5p Based at South University Campus in Fargo, ND 100% clinical setting; no call coverage 10-14 patient encounters per day Sleep studies performed including, but are not limited, to Sleep Apnea, Insomnia and Restless Legs Syndrome The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills, while working both independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. The NP/PA will provide health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. They may care for patients as noted in age-related category and area of expertise. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others. EDUCATION/TRAINING: Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a registered nurse in appropriate states (if NP).
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in appropriate states.
  • Current certification in CPR
  • National certification, in applicable area.
  • Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.
