Be a part of our caring community and help us put health first. The Nurse Practitioner (NP) applies advanced education and clinical competencies to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The NP works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial. The Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides health promotion and maintenance through the diagnosis and treatment of acute illness and chronic conditions. Prescribes medication, examines patients, diagnoses illnesses, and provides treatment. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, using independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

  • Provide health promotion and maintenance through diagnosis and treatment of acute illness and chronic conditions.
  • Prescribe medication and examine patients.
  • Diagnose illnesses and provide treatment.
  • Advise executives on developing functional strategies.
  • Exercise independent judgment and decision-making on complex issues.
  • Minimum of two to five years directly applicable experience.
  • Successful completion of a nurse practitioner program with board certification.
  • Active, unrestricted nurse practitioner or physician assistant license in state of practice location (AZ).
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Demonstrate a high level of skill with interpersonal relationships and communications with all colleagues.
  • Willingness and ability to learn/adapt to practice in a value-based care setting.
  • Superior patient/customer service.
  • Basic computer skills, including email and EMR.
  • Appropriate certification to write prescriptions under the authority of a collaborating physician/medical director.
  • Active and unrestricted DEA license.
  • Medicare Provider Number/ Medicaid Provider Number.
  • Experience managing Medicare Advantage panel of patients with understanding of Best Practice in coordinated care environment in a value-based relationship environment.
  • Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and coverage.
  • Knowledge of HEDIS quality indicators.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred and not required.
