The NP/PA employed by Erlanger will provide specialized medical services within our Joint Replacement clinic. Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and assisting in surgical procedures. Experience in Arthroplasty is highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage. This position offers a collaborative team environment where professional growth is highly valued. The Orthopedics team at Erlanger is known for their exceptional teamwork and dedication to patient care. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00am to 4:00pm with minimal call responsibilities. The NP/PA must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Functions include managing the care of orthopedic and/or surgical patients, performing orthopedic splinting, casting and traction procedures, preparing the patient for discharge, completing History and Physical examinations, as well as discharge summaries. The NP/PA must identify opportunities for and contribute to the improvement of quality, safety and cost, as well as patient and customer satisfaction.
