We are searching for a talented Advanced Practice Practitioner to join the OB/GYN team in the office setting.

Requirements

• Masters of Science Degree in Nursing is required.
• Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Nurse Practitioner is required.
• Current Massachusetts R.N. registration is required.
• Nurse Practitioner Certificate/Physician Assistant Certificate is required.
• Over 3 months experience as a Nurse practitioner.
• Current Massachusetts Nurse Practitioner License is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to assigned OB/GYN patients utilizing basic knowledge of the pathophysiology of general obstetric and gynecologic issues.
• Perform routine low risk prenatal care.
• Conduct preventative women's health assessments.
• Manage abnormal uterine bleeding.
• Handle management of abnormal cervical cytology.
• Address vaginitis and pelvic pain.
• Provide contraception counseling.
• Perform intrauterine device insertion.
• Conduct endometrial biopsy.
• Insert nexplanon.
• Perform cervix exams on pregnant patients.
