About The Position
The position functions in collaborative practice with physician(s) in a private office setting for medically complex patients. The role involves autonomously performing patient assessments, diagnoses, and interventions according to approved protocols. The individual will support physicians in developing and maintaining patient care, collaborate with specialties, and ensure continuity of care. Additionally, the position includes providing office coverage for physician(s) during their absence and prescribing various modalities to meet wellness and illness needs, which may include hospital admission/discharge and prescriptive authority. The role also involves supervising private office clinical personnel as needed.
