About The Position

TidalHealth is seeking a compassionate and skilled Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dedicated team in Salisbury, Maryland. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated provider to practice in an inpatient setting, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality infectious disease care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with infectious disease physicians.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic infectious diseases, ensuring evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Prescribe medications, monitor treatment efficacy, and manage potential side effects.
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment plans, and adherence strategies.
• Coordinate care with pharmacists, nurses, and infection control specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory and imaging studies.
