About The Position

TidalHealth is seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Hospice and Palliative Care team. This role provides care for patients with serious or life-limiting illnesses across inpatient and outpatient settings, while also mentoring residents and fellows.

Requirements

• Licensed NP or PA in Maryland (or eligible at hire)
• Experience in hospice/palliative care preferred
• Strong communication skills and calm, empathetic presence
• Ability to manage complex care and family dynamics
• Flexibility to work across inpatient/outpatient settings and multiple locations

Nice To Haves

• Experience in hospice/palliative care preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert symptom management and individualized care plans
• Guide patients and families through goals-of-care discussions and advance directives
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless, holistic care
• Educate residents, fellows, and team members in palliative principles
• Support patients and families with empathy, even in challenging situations
