We are searching for a talented Advanced Practice Practitioner. Hours: 40 - 7:00A - 4:00P - position will alternate between OR and Clinic to support Breast & Plastic Surgeons. Shift: Day - no weekend, holiday, on-call. Location: Dartmouth, MA - office + 3 hospital sites.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in a related field is required for Physician Assistant.
  • Graduate of an A.M.A.-approved Physician Assistant program is required.
  • Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Physician Assistant is required.
  • Masters of Science Degree in Nursing is required for Nurse Practitioner.
  • Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Nurse Practitioner is required.
  • Current Massachusetts R.N. registration is required.
  • Nurse Practitioner Certificate/Physician Assistant Certificate is required.
  • Over 3 months experience is required.
  • CME requirements as needed.
  • PA preferred.
  • NP must already have RNFA upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide variety of patient care and related duties both within and in support of Southcoast Physicians Group.
  • Assist in the OR for procedures to support Breast & Plastic Surgeons.
