Emory Healthcare is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Endocrinology team at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA. This is an outpatient position with a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, requiring no call, nights, or weekend coverage. The role is open to either a Physician Assistant (PA) or a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), with prior experience in Endocrinology being highly desired. The APP will play a crucial role in the integrated academic health care system at Emory Healthcare, contributing to the evaluation and treatment of patients with endocrine disorders. In this position, the APP will assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients, documenting the delivery of care in medical records. Responsibilities include conducting patient interviews, documenting patient histories, psychosocial histories, health status, and identifying medical problems or potential issues. Under the supervision of a physician, the APP will perform physical examinations and specialized diagnostic or therapeutic procedures, such as cast application and removal, wound suturing, and dressing changes. The APP will also assist the physician in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment. The compensation for this position includes a base salary range of $102,000 to $128,000 per year, depending on years of experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. The position is also eligible for an annual APP incentive plan, student loan repayment benefits, and paid parental leave.
