About The Position

The Premier Physician Network offers a variety of Nurse Practitioner positions with varying degrees of responsibility. Our Nurse Practitioners, in conjunction with the center's Physician/s and clinical staff, are responsible for exemplary patient primary health care and continuity of medical services under the direction of the supervising physician/s. Responsibilities will vary with each position, and also according to specialty; must be accessible to their physicians, staff and supervisors.

Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited NP program.
• Certified NP (FNP) with current State of Ohio licensure.
• Current Certificate to Prescribe.
• Minimum of five years of experience as a Registered Nurse; 1 year experience as a FNP preferred.
• Thorough understanding of HIPAA law and professional discretion.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Computer literacy including Excel, Word, and Outlook; Electronic Medical Records experience preferred, especially with EPIC.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary patient primary health care and continuity of medical services under the direction of supervising physician/s.
• Evaluate patient care and apply medical principles, methods, and techniques.
• Take medical history, assess medical conditions, and interpret findings.
• Maintain quality assurance and quality control standards.
• React calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
