About The Position

The Premier Physician Network offers a variety of Nurse Practitioner positions with varying degrees of responsibility. Our Nurse Practitioners, in conjunction with the center's Physician/s and clinical staff, are responsible for exemplary patient primary health care and continuity of medical services under the direction of the supervising physician/s. Responsibilities will vary with each position, and also according to specialty; must be accessible to their physicians, staff and supervisors.

Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited NP program.
• Certified NP (ACNP) with current State of Ohio licensure.
• Certificate to Prescribe must be current.
• Minimum of five years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• One year experience as an ACNP preferred.
• Thorough understanding of HIPAA law.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Computer literacy including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records, preferably EPIC.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary patient primary health care.
• Ensure continuity of medical services under the direction of supervising physician/s.
• Evaluate patient care and apply medical principles and techniques.
• Take medical history and assess medical conditions.
• Maintain quality assurance and quality control standards.
• React calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
