About The Position

The Emory Winship Cancer Institute NP/PA Fellowship Program is a one-year program that prepares fellows to become highly skilled in the multidisciplinary, collaborative and evidence-based management of complex and challenging patients in medical oncology and hematology, bone marrow transplant and radiation oncology. The Fellowship's innovative curriculum covers the entire spectrum of oncology from cellular basics of cancer, including management of benign hematological disorders, through long-term survivorship. They have exposure to the care of oncology patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings with rotations through sub-specialized clinics, allowing the fellow to cultivate knowledge of specific oncology diseases. The clinical rotations provide fellows with both solid and hematologic malignancy encounters simultaneously. The well-rounded and all-inclusive fellowship experience includes participation in services such as palliative care, survivorship, integrative medicine and clinical trials.
