APP Endocrinology Bronson Medical Group - Battle Creek, Michigan Bronson Diabetes and Endocrinology Center is seeking to hire a dynamic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established practice in Battle Creek, Michigan. This APP will provide care for outpatient endocrinology patients, including patients with diabetes in our Battle Creek, MI Location. APP will demonstrate autonomy through patient evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care. Orders testing as deemed necessary and remains proficient in interpreting results and prescribing appropriate medication regimen within the scope of practice of the APP. Under the direction of the physician, reviews patient findings and develops a treatment plan within the scope of practice. Counsels and educates patients and their families or caregivers concerning their disease process and management. Performs duties to support the goals and objectives of Bronson Healthcare Group in its efforts to provide quality patient care and patient satisfaction. The ideal candidate for the APP position maintains effective communication with patients, staff and physicians; provides patient care in a competent, professional and courteous manner; and keeps abreast of current research and incorporates relevant findings into specific areas of clinical practice. This is an employed position working full time Monday-Friday, clinic based only in Battle Creek, MI. Experience in diabetes or endocrinology is preferable.
