About The Position

As the first Quality Supervisor on site, you'll lead a team of 8-9 inspectors in a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment. You will ensure safety, quality, and efficiency while being the primary link between our team, the customer, and multiple suppliers.

Requirements

• 2-3 years leading or supervising at least 5+ employees in manufacturing/light industrial (automotive industry experience required)
• Strong organizational skills and disciplined approach to responsibilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred
• Excellent communication skills with ability to engage customers and suppliers
• Physically able to stand for 10-12 hours and lift 30+ lbs
• Flexible to work overtime as needed

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of inspectors, setting clear expectations and monitoring performance.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Develop and implement work instructions for inspection processes.
• Oversee quality processes, control points, equipment, and personnel to meet production standards.
• Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and staffing partners to resolve issues and maintain satisfaction.
• Handle scheduling, time entry, and data reporting using our automated systems.
• Coach, counsel, and address performance issues when needed.
• Support staffing decisions and collaborate with Chelsea's team on personnel needs.
