About The Position

The Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (OB/GYN) will provide out-patient comprehensive primary care services including preventive and health maintenance services, acute and chronic care, clinical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment. This role requires adherence to CFHC's program philosophies, goals, and objectives, as well as compliance with all policies and procedures, state and federal regulations.

Requirements

  • ARNP Training Program.
  • Certified Nurse Midwife or Women's Health Nurse Practitioner.
  • At least 1 year of experience in the role.
  • Florida License.
  • ANCC and/or AANP Certification.
  • Insurability (malpractice).
  • BLS certification.
  • Computer literacy.

Responsibilities

  • Be familiar with CFHC's program philosophies, goals, and objectives.
  • Adhere to disease management protocols and key clinical pathways to improve clinical performance.
  • Complete all required paperwork on time, including payroll sheets and progress notes.
  • Understand and comply with CFHC's Exposure Control Plan.
  • Facilitate needed referrals for patients requiring services not offered at CFHC.
  • Participate in staff outreach and off-site health care programs.
  • Precept Medical Students as assigned.
  • Assist in the review of primary care protocols and patient education materials.
  • Provide necessary information for participation in reimbursement arrangements.
  • Review incoming reports and follow up when indicated.
  • Maintain neat patient records with timely written SOAP notes.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of coding and billing requirements.
  • Rotate to other CFHC centers as needed.
  • Provide off-hours and Saturday clinic coverage as assigned.
  • Report pertinent information to CCO regarding patient care.
  • Provide a leadership role for medical support staff.
  • Attend and participate in mandatory CFHC meetings.
  • Participate in Peer Review activities as requested.
  • Assist with the recruitment of other physicians and clinical staff.
  • Make recommendations regarding the purchase of clinical supplies and equipment.
  • Demonstrate ability to work cooperatively with other members of the clinical team.
  • Maintain neat and professional appearance at all times.
  • Perform all surgical procedures using sterile techniques.
  • Carry out any other activities deemed appropriate by the CCO or CEO.

Benefits

  • NHSC - $75,000 for a 2-year commitment and then $20,000 for each additional year commitment until the loan has been paid in full.
  • PSLF - 10-year commitment, 120 loan payments and at the end of the commitment, the remaining loan is forgiven.
