As a Notify Technician, you will serve as a community liaison within our service area, informing residents about who we are and the work we perform. You will receive training to identify and collect required information for our push and mainline crews prior to their arrival for inspections. This role also involves placing door tags at each worksite to notify residents of upcoming visits. Regional and Work Environment Considerations This position requires working in a variety of outdoor environments. Job sites may include embankments, uneven terrain, wet conditions, and changing weather. Employees must be prepared to adapt to heat, humidity, sudden storms, and cold temperatures.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • This position is considered safety-sensitive and is subject to a pre-employment background check and drug screening, including screening for marijuana and marijuana metabolites.
  • Ability to walk up to 2 miles per day.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Familiarity with smartphones and laptops for field data collection.
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Travel in a company vehicle to assigned work sites to interact with homeowners and place door tags.
  • Identify, document, and report required information for future push and mainline crew visits.
  • Use a smartphone to capture GPS points and enter required data at each work site.
  • Provide professional customer service and address utility-related questions or concerns.
